Introducing the new Mr & Mrs Higson and their ‘goodest’ girl; Lola the ring bearer!

Jess & James got married at Arley Hall, with their adorable and incredibly well-trained dog Lola – I think everyone wanted to take her home (I know I did!). Arley Hall is a very special place for Jess; her dad Bob, who is sadly no longer with us, was a gardener there for 20 years. In a beautiful nod to him, the flowers in her bouquet were from the Hall’s herbaceous border and his memorial bench was placed on the top lawn for the drinks reception. It was such a fantastic day, filled with love, fun and laughter!

In Jess & James’ own words:
“We are absolutely thrilled that we chose Marry Me Films as our wedding videographers. From our very first meeting, I knew we had made the right decision – they were so vibrant, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited about capturing our day, which instantly put us at ease. On the day itself, the Sara & Tony were incredible. I felt completely comfortable being filmed (which is very unusual for me!) thanks to how relaxed and natural they made everyone feel. They captured the day perfectly – from the getting-ready moments, to the ceremony, to our dog running around, and so much more. They also worked so well with our photographer, meaning everything felt so smooth and effortless without any awkward waiting around or changing of poses! We were blown away by how quickly we received our films. Just two days after the wedding we received a one-minute teaser, followed by a beautiful five-minute highlight film, and then the full 40-minute film. This was so special to have, as each film truly takes you right back to the day. Their editing is absolutely amazing – the way they capture the atmosphere, emotion, and all the little moments so perfectly is incredible. Thank you so much to Marry Me Films.
