On the day of our wedding, your energy was infectious, and you definitely calmed my nerves before walking down the aisle. Even our guests commented on how much fun, but yet how professional you were. “It wasn’t a difficult decision to pick Sara and Tony to film our wedding. From the first email, we instantly warmed to their professional but relaxed approach to filming our wedding day. We wanted a videographer to blend into the background, whilst ensuring that all of the key moments of our day were captured, a film to be enjoyed by our family and also for our two year old to look back on. We weren’t disappointed with the outcome. Sara and Tony did exactly what they said they would at our planning meeting, they made me feel relaxed and at ease whilst I was getting ready at Abbeywood and despite the constant rain on our wedding day, we managed to get all of the footage needed at both the church and Abbeywood. “There was never any question in our minds who we would ask to be our videographers, so much so that if you were already booked, we would’ve rather gone with no video at all. From the onset you - guys were professional, yet so personable. Your experience of filming weddings is clearly evident and your creativity shines through. You gave us great ideas for the day and highlighted the things we should consider - you really know your stuff! But you were never pushy and shared our excitement for the things that we really wanted to incorporate. On the day you were just amazing! Nothing was too much effort for you guys, but you made it look so easy. You even managed to get lots of footage of certain camera shy people (I think you know who they were), completely natural and blissfully unaware of the camera. And guess what, they love it too, in fact I think they have watched our film more times than we have – no mean feat! We absolutely love our wedding film. We never intended to have (or budgeted for!!!) a wedding DVD, but my chief bridesmaid convinced us it was a good idea & we're so grateful to her that we listened!! Our pre-wedding meeting was lovely & gave us chance to talk through the running of the day, which made us even more than excited than we already were. On the actual day you were brilliant! Just brilliant! You were there right from the start, capturing all those moments that otherwise go un-noticed, or forgotten...my daft bridesmaid lying on the floor trying to cool down, hugs with mum & the bridesmaids, Stuart arriving with the men, me walking towards the aisle with my mum & saying "I'm so happy!", the registrar getting our surname wrong, the actual words we said during the ceremony, the looks we exchanged, the way my dress moved, the details of the speeches....just everything! You even helped me bustle my dress & had plasters & safety pins handy! I think you saw & noticed things we didn't on the day & now we get chance to relive the day whenever we want; we are honestly thrilled with the end result & every time we watch it, one or the other of us wells up at a different part (in a good way)! “Gosh where do we start? Firstly what an amazing couple you are, the love and friendship you both have towards each other shined through your work and reflected on our wedding day! Myself and Chris are so happy we chose you both to be our videographers. From the moment we met you at our pre-wedding planning meeting, you were very approachable and had a professional manner. You showed great interest in our wedding timeline and ideas and gave us good advice to make sure our day was going to run smoothly and be perfect. You were with us from start to finish and discreetly worked alongside us to make sure you captured every special moment. Although we hired you as our videographers, we built a relationship which quickly turned into a friendship this made us feel at great ease throughout the day. All of our guests commented on how down to earth you both were, you made me feel like a princess and our daughter felt like a superstar. You even went the extra mile with all your hard work and skills to make sure our night guests could share our special day with us just like our day guests did by promptly creating the 'same day edit' video, this was projected on a wall within Peckforton Castle for when our night guests started to arrive so they didn't miss out on all the action. Although our wedding was only a couple of months ago it feels like a lifetime and we wish we could do it all over again. Thankfully watching our wedding DVD lets us relive our wedding all over again! “When reflecting on our wedding day and all of the magical moments, I am tinged with an element of sadness that it is actually over and yet so relieved that we made the wise decision to hire a videographer, in particular Marry Me Films. As we try to recall the day, there are parts that we missed or have now forgotten but due to the remarkable work of Sara and Tony we can relive the day over and over again. They both have this incredible understanding of the amount of work that goes into organising a wedding and within our video have captured the finest of details, from the accessories in my bridesmaids hair to close ups of my jewellery and even the coathangers my mum made for the bridal party! These are details that with time will likely fade and yet now we can remember them forever. Sara and Tony have an immense amount of talent to be able to capture significant moments discreetly yet with detail; the nervous twitch of my fingers before my dad saw me for the first time, the exhaling of nervous from my husband as he waited for me, the concentration from the best man as he read through his notes before his speech. These emotions form part of the day and through watching the video you are able to relive and feel the excitement, the nerves, the sense of pride and happiness again and again. “Marry Me Films filmed our wedding at Peckforton Castle in March 2015. They did a truly outstanding job for us and we were absolutely delighted. From the initial meet-up, they made us feel very comfortable, listening attentively to all our plans and gave us the impression that they were all about the small details. Because we were planning a very personal wedding, we were looking for someone who would have the time, patience and personality to capture not just the main events of the day, but also all the little details we spent months planning. I have to say, they did that spectacularly well. The attention to detail in their work was staggering. On our wedding day, Sara and Tony arrived promptly, were exceptionally hard-working throughout the long day, were constantly professional and we were always polite to us and all our guests. Our draft version of the video was produced very quickly after the big day, and we were made to feel very comfortable about a number of rounds of edits we wanted to make. The final presentation box arrived soon after we confirmed all the required edits were done in a beautifully wrapped parcel, which was again a lovely detail. The finished product looked extremely professional, exceeding our expectations by quite some margin. We loved it. “When we decided to get married, our initial idea was to capture our special day in photographs only, as we thought a video might be a bit cheesy! But after meeting and discussing our concerns and needs, with Sara and Tony of Marry Me Films, we quickly gained confidence in the idea of having our day filmed. As the big day arrived, we still harboured all those little insecurities we all have about being captured on film, especially a moving one and the potentially intrusive nature of cameras being put in front of you, at every turn. However we need not have worried Sara and Tony were virtually invisible on the day and we still cannot believe how they produced such a stunning piece of film, as a permanent memory of our fantastic day. The visual and sound quality of the film is Hollywood movie standard and having watched it at least a dozen times already, we still cannot think of a single part that we would have wanted improved.
